Introduction

Poohoo ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Poohoo mobile application.

Information We Collect

Personal Information

Poohoo does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All data remains on your device.

Data Stored Locally

The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Poop tracking entries (date, time, score, notes)
• App preferences and settings

No Account Required

Poohoo does not require account creation, login, or any form of user authentication.

Third-Party Services

Advertising

Poohoo displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app. AdMob may collect and use certain information for advertising purposes:

• Device information (device type, operating system)
• Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
• Approximate location (based on IP address)

We request non-personalized ads only, which means ads are not tailored to your individual profile.

Analytics

Poohoo does not use any analytics or tracking services beyond AdMob advertising.

Data Storage and Security

• All tracking data is stored locally on your device using SQLite
• No cloud sync or backup
• We do not have access to your data
• Your data never leaves your device

How to Delete Your Data

Since all data in Poohoo is stored exclusively on your device, you have complete control over your information. You can delete your data at any time using either method:

Method 1: Delete the App

Uninstalling Poohoo will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device:

• iOS: Press and hold the Poohoo app icon → Tap "Remove App" → Tap "Delete App"
• Android: Press and hold the Poohoo app icon → Tap "Uninstall" or drag to "Uninstall"

This will permanently remove all your tracking entries, preferences, and any other data stored by the app.

Method 2: Clear App Data (Without Uninstalling)

You can also clear app data through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Poohoo → Delete App (or Offload App to keep the app but delete data)
• Android: Settings → Apps → Poohoo → Storage → Clear Data

Important Notes

• Data deletion is immediate and permanent
• There is no way to recover deleted data since we don't store backups
• We cannot delete your data for you because we never receive or store it on our servers

Children's Privacy

Poohoo does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences.

Your Rights

As a Poohoo user, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: All your data is accessible within the app at any time
• Right to Delete: Delete all data instantly by uninstalling the app or clearing app data (see "How to Delete Your Data" section above)
• Right to Privacy: Your data stays on your device and is never shared with us or third parties
• Right to Contact Us: Reach out with any privacy questions or concerns

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted in the app and on our website.
